Elf Louise Christmas Project Toy Collection: Continuing our tradition, our school will be collecting toys for less fortunate families. This has always been a beneficial program to brighten the holidays of less fortunate children in San Antonio and Helotes Area.
Calling all parents! Its time for orientation for the 2015-2016 school year.
- Orientation for Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grades will take place September 2nd. (Session 1: 5:00-5:45pm; Session 2: 6:00-6:45pm)
- Orientation for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will take place September 3rd. (Session 1: 5:00-5:45pm; Session 2: 6:00-6:45pm)

- Howdy Night is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Parents/Guardians of enrolled students will receive a call reminder for the event.
- On Thursday, August 20, your student's teacher assignment for the new year will be posted on the bulletin board near the foyer. Additionally, your 2015-2016 teacher will give you a call welcoming your students to their class on the afternoon of Monday, August 17.
Helotes Elementary PTA is bringing Watch D.O.G.S. to our campus! The Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program is a school-based father involvement program that works to support education and stafety. As a program of the National Center for Fathering, there are more than 4,704 schools in 46 states participating in the program which is supported by fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrators.
