In SchoolCafé you can view the new online interactive menu that allows parents, students and staff to view and interact with school cafeteria menus, view nutritional analysis, ingredient and allergen information.

Online Payments

SchoolCafé is a safe and secure way for parents to make online payments, manage balances, set low balance alerts and view their children’s purchase history.  Click on this Quick Step Guide to learn how to set up a student account and make online payments.

Free & Reduced-Price Meal Applications

Your child(ren) may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Households interested in the meal program must apply for the program every school year.  For more information view the Program Benefit Information and the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) page for a list of CEP schools.

Above and Beyond Nomination

The NISD Child Nutrition Above and Beyond program is a way for you to recognize any Child Nutrition employee who goes above and beyond what is expected.

Sample Award Criteria:

  • Demonstrated commitment to providing nutritious, high-quality, and appealing meals as a top priority for students and staff.
  • Successfully submitted a recipe to CN district staff, gaining approval and inclusion on the menu.
  • Implemented improvements in kitchen processes, leading to increased safety and reduced mishaps.
  • Fostered a culture of teamwork and strong working relationships within the cafeteria, school, and/or district.
Special Dietary Needs

Special dietary accommodations may be made for students who have official documentation signed by a medical authority.
