**Rescheduled to November 14th**
The annual Trees for Veterans Arbor Day will be Saturday morning, November 14th, from 9:00 to noon. All students are welcome to attend with an adult member of their family. After a brief opening ceremony and flag raising, we will plant the Tree for Veterans on campus before families plant native tree seedlings at Earl Scott Pond across the street. Orange spray paint on the ground marks the exact spots to plant in our tree research grid. It is come and go as you please and we stop when we run out of trees, usually within about 90 minutes. If you have a favorite shovel, please bring it. Wear closed toe shoes (like tennis shoes or boots) with long pants for the brushy planting area. Participants may take a free tree for their home landscape and breakfast tacos are served before the start at the sign-in table on a first come basis.
