Picture day is today, Friday, September 30th. Please make sure students have exact change or checks made out to Lifetouch Photography. Please instruct students to hand payment directly to the photoprapher when taking photo.

Are your child's immunizations up-to-date? State law requires that all children have current and accurate shot records to attend school. If your child's immunization records are not up-to-date, they will not be permitted to attend classes. Students wishing to play football will not be issued any equipment if they do not have current shot records. Please take time to check your child's records before the first day of school (August 22nd).

On August 16th we will be hosting a "Meet the Teacher Night" for our 7th and 8th grade stingrays from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. 6th Graders can meet their teachers August 16th from 6-8 p.m. This will be a very informal event and everyone can come and go as they please. During this time, there will be an opportunity to visit the campus, pick up schedules, buy PE uniforms, join PTA, and meet staff. To receive a temporary copy of your students schedule at open house, please report to the student's 1st period classroom.

Students who are enrolled in English Language Arts (ELA) Pre-AP courses, are required to read the assigned novel prior to school starting. Students should be prepared to discuss and write about the novel. Students will be required to complete the assignment prior to the end of the first week of school. The Club LT program at Vale Middle School is designed to meet the needs of middle school students and to support the goals and objectives of both Northside ISD and the Texas Education Agency. The Club LT program provides academic and enrichment activities, enhanced self-motivation, social skills, and improved study skills.
