Eight Northside students qualified for national history fair competition after success at the state level. They represent three high schools and one middle school.
This year’s theme is “Taking A Stand in History” and advancing projects include a paper, documentary, performance, and website.
National History Day competition is June 11-15 at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Thirty seven NISD students qualified for state competition this year. Students ranked first or second at the state level advanced to nationals in either the junior or senior level of competition. They are:
Junior Division
