Dr. Meredith Rockeymoore Brooks

Dr. Meredith Rockeymoore Brooks is the first to tell you that math and science were not her forte in the early years of her academic career at Northside ISD. However, with guidance from teachers at Adams Hill Elementary School and Pease Middle School, she learned to like math and science and even excelled in them as she entered Health Careers High School.

She attended Prairie View A&M University before attending John Hopkins University for her medical training where she also earned a master’s degree in Public Health.

Today, she is a clinical assistant professor of pediatric pain and pediatric anesthesiology at Stanford University School of Medicine.

A busy mother of three children under the age of six, she teaches aspiring medical students, treats young patients, and manages to take missionary trips around the world. She gives credit for her success to God, her husband, and her family.
