Nichols Elementary opened in August of 2002. Our parents are actively involved with our school. In 2017, we organized a new chapter of All Pro Dad. Here is an exerpt from their website:
"All Pro Dad is on a mission to help you love and lead your family well. Be a hero to your kids. We are a group of people passionately committed to bringing intentional focus to fathers around the world. Our message will inspire you to embrace who you are, give you tenderness of heart, and boldness of character as a dad and husband. We are consistently here for you to provide guidance and practical tips in raising your kids in a life giving way."
All Pro Dad meets on the last Friday of each month from 7:15 - 7:35 A.M. on the stage. Bring your children and your breakfast and become an All Pro Dad.

Nichols also has a Learning Tree program. Northside School District’s Learning Tree program offers opportunities for children to access academic enrichment, social, and recreational experiences in an after school environment that is safe and supervised. It is run by the Community Education Department, known for its long history of providing quality programming for children. For more information go to http://www.nisd.net/learning-tree/.
