Get your NISD Fiesta Medals today

You know it is almost Fiesta time when groups start showing off their medals (or shoes!) and NISD has quite a few medals available for purchase this year.

Clark High School: Clark High School is selling its 2016 Fiesta medals for $5 each. The medal design features the Clark Cougar. They’re available in the front office. Limited supplies of the 2015 medal, $3 each, and 2014 medal, $1 each, are also available.

Hoffmann Elementary School: Hoffmann Elementary School medals can be purchased for $3 each on Fridays beginning April 1. The design honors military families and April as the Month of the Military Child.


Jay High School: Jay High School is selling its Fiesta medals for $8 each, and they’ll be available in the front office beginning April 4. The 2016 Jay Fiesta medal features the Jay Mustang and honors teacher Calvin Buchholtz who is retiring after more than 40 years at Jay.

Marshall High School: Marshall High School is selling its first ever Fiesta medal beginning March 31. Each medal is $7. E-mail if interested in purchasing. The medal design features the Ram mascot emerging from a cascarone.

O’Connor High School: The O’Connor High School golf team is selling Fiesta medals for $5 each in the principal’s office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The design features the O’Connor Panther and the school colors.

Stevens High School: The Stevens High School Fiesta medal features the Stevens Falcon and cascarones. Medals are $7 each, cash only, and are available at the front desk beginning March 21.

Taft High School: Taft High School will be selling its Fiesta medals for $5 each, at the beginning of April in the front office. The medal features the Taft Raider surrounded by confetti in an Alamo-shaped design. For more information, call 397-6000.


Ward Elementary School: Ward Elementary School is selling its 2016 Fiesta medals for $5 each in the front office. The medal features a pink “Super W” to support the school’s own superhero, teacher Cynthia Wallace, as she continues her courageous fight against cancer. For more information, call 397-6800. 

Warren High School/Construction Careers Academy: Warren High School is selling Fiesta medals for $5 each at the school’s front desk. This year’s design features the Warren Warrior playing a guitar and school colors of purple and white.

Northside School Museum Association: And finally, the Northside School Museum Association is selling its limited-edition medals for the sixth year in a row. This year’s student-designed medal features a piñata, cactus, sombrero and the words “We are Northside Proud.” If interested, contact the Partnerships Office at 397-8599 or stop by the Museum located at the Northside Learning Center, 6632 Bandera Road, Building A. Medals are $8 each.

All supplies are limited, so order ASAP. No matter what your allegiance, it’s always fun to collect medals. Viva Fiesta!
