A team from Brandeis High School won the high school division of the Regional Science Bowl and will now head to Washington D.C. for the National Science Bowl competition.
Sixty five teams from middle schools and high schools across the San Antonio area competed at the Regional Science Bowl at Jay High School Feb. 19 and 20.
The top high school and the top middle school teams at the Regional level advanced to compete in Washington D.C. April 28 - May 2, all expenses paid.

The members of the Brandeis team are Rodolfo Muzquiz, Changxiao Xie, Pranjal Singh, Stephen Chen, and Nathan Corbin. Their sponsor is Chemistry teacher LeAnne Gisler.
2nd- Health Careers HS
The Regional Science Bowl is hosted by NISD Middle and High School Science departments with title sponsor Booz Allen Hamilton. Other sponsors include Lackland AFB Cryptologic & Cyber Systems Division and Mitre Corporation. It is the only competition sanctioned by a federal agency, the US Department of Energy.
