NISD to host asthma education session

Does your child use a reliever medication more than three times per week for symptoms? Does your child have to limit physical activities due to asthma?

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, Nov. 11 to attend a free Asthma Education Session for parents at Brandeis High School beginning at 7 p.m.

Dr. Kelly Smith, a local doctor specializing in pediatric pulmonology, will discuss the fundamental principles of asthma, the latest asthma guidelines, and how to help your child gain control of his/her asthma.

The session is sponsored by the NISD Health Services Department and the Division of Student, Family and Community Services.

Brandeis High School is located at 13011 Kyle Seale. The informational session is free and open to the public.
