It is said that it is always bigger in Texas and that was definitely true at Cody ES recently when Dinosaur George dropped onto the campus bringing the largest traveling museum in North America.
The traveling exhibit includes the largest variety of dinosaur bones, skulls, teeth, claws, and other reptilian-type objects.
Every student in the school was able to experience a museum of real dinosaur bones and fossils without ever leaving the campus. Students rotated in and out of the museum, which was set up in the school gym, and their science notebook served as their ticket into the exhibit. In addition, the museum was opened in the evening for families to enjoy during Family Science Night.
