“This is Northside” takes a peek into what’s included in the upcoming bond proposal to be brought to the voters starting with early voting on April 23. All NISD schools will be impacted and 67 percent of funds would be used to renovate and upgrade existing neighborhood schools.

The 49th annual NISD Special Olympics Track and Field Meet is scheduled for Feb. 26 – March 2 at Gustafson Stadium. The theme for this year’s competition is the “Wizard of Oz” which is fitting to describe the tremendous skills, heart, and courage shown by each of the competitors.

An Open Letter to Northside ISD Staff, Students, and Parents from Superintendent Brian Woods: Like many of you, I watched with sadness and horror as another school shooting unfolded in our country. We all grieve for those involved in this tragedy.
