Danielle Chapa has received the national National Center for Women and Information Technology Award for Aspirations in Computing. She was one of 35 young women in the United States selected for her computing and IT aptitude, leadership ability, academic history, and plans for post-secondary education. As a winner, she will receive a laptop computer, $500 for college expenses, and a trip to Charlotte, North Carolina.
