Four NISD Academic Decathlon teams advanced to state after competing against more than 25 teams and 240 students from across the region at the 2017 Regional Academic Decathlon hosted at Warren High School.
For 44 years, the Walter Gerlach Livestock Show and Sale has been a Northside ISD tradition that has quietly raised nearly $15 million in college scholarships for students. This year’s event has 795 entries which will again draw hundreds of students and livestock bidders.

Art students at Luna MS are lending a helping hand this holiday season to the San Antonio Food Bank. The students created their own ceramic bowls to sell in a school fundraiser.
