Northside is holding its seventh annual Declaration of Respect Signing Day on Friday, October 12, with students and staff across the District signing certificates pledging to demonstrate respect for themselves and all others through their interactions at school.

The second annual Nerdvana Con, a free comic convention for teens, will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10 at Stevens High School.

Around 106,000 students and 7,600 teachers headed back to the classroom when 120 schools reopened on Monday. Joining the District is Dr. Linda G. Mora Elementary School, the 79th elementary school in NISD.
