The staff at NAMS-South hold high expectations for students. Each student is expected to produce QUALITY work. We offer English, reading, math, science, history, P.E., SKYPE Spanish and Behavior Education. Electives are not part of our program; grades for these courses on the home campuses will be put on "hold" while the student is at NAMS-South. Students must have a passing average in each class before they can return to their home campus.
Teachers relay student academic progress to parents and students each week on the daily assignment sheet. This is one of our communication tools between school and home. We also welcome parent phone communication and conferences regarding student performance.
We follow NISD curriculm guidelines and provide special education services according to the needs of your child.
