Hello! I am Aydee Ruiz-Ufland, the PROUD Principal of Langley Elementary! I am so excited and feel privileged to work at this wonderful campus. I have been in education for over 10 years.
I started as a third grade teacher at Langley in 2012. Previously, I worked as an Academic Counselor for Carver Academy in San Antonio, TX. Before our move to San Antonio, I was an Academic Dean for the Brownsville Independent School District.
I am originally from Brownsville, TX and am a graduate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. I have a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas RGV.
Some things that I would like to share about me:
- I am a mother of 2 beautiful kids.
- I expect all students to be respectful towards each other, to respect themselves and their teachers.
- I love working with children!
