Langley Administration

Hello! I am Aydee Ruiz-Ufland, the PROUD Principal of Langley Elementary! I am so excited and feel privileged to work at this wonderful campus. I have been in education for over 10 years.

I started as a third grade teacher at Langley in 2012. Previously, I worked as an Academic Counselor for Carver Academy in San Antonio, TX. Before our move to San Antonio, I was an Academic Dean for the Brownsville Independent School District.

I am originally from Brownsville, TX and am a graduate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. I have a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas RGV.

Some things that I would like to share about me:

  • I am a mother of 2 beautiful kids.
  • I expect all students to be respectful towards each other, to respect themselves and their teachers.
  • I love working with children!

Hi, I'm Lisa Ellison.  I am so honored and excited to serve as your new Langley Vice-Principal.

This will be my 20th year serving in the greatest profession, Education.  For the past 3 years I worked as the Vice-Principal at Ed Cody Elementary.  Prior to administration, I taught grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.  I graduated from UTSA  with a Bachelor's and St. Mary's University with a Master's in Educational Leadership.

Your child's success is one of my most important responsibilities, so please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.  I look forward to a wonderful, exciting school year full of learning and growth!
