Reynolds, Michele- Assistant Principal
My name is Michele Reynolds. I am the Assistant Principal in charge of overseeing the Freshman Center here at Jay. John Jay holds a very special place in my heart; I graduated from John Jay in 1989. It is also where I began my teaching career. After graduation I received an Associates in the Arts from Odessa Junior College and later a Bachelors in Science Psychology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon returning to Texas I received my teaching certificate through Region 20 and UTSA. Living with the Northside motto of “life long learning” I went back to school to receive my Masters in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently I hold teaching certificates in Special Education, Health, PE and Administration.
On a personal note I am the mother of two boys Joshua and Moses, My oldest son Joshua is a 2013 Jay graduate. My youngest Moses graduated in 2016 and is currently playing football and continuing his education at Texas A&M University. When my boys don’t have games I enjoy supporting my students by attending Jay events. My blood bleeds BLUE!!! Go Jay Go!
