Community involvement is vital to all students, whether they have special needs or not.
Students at the Reddix Center are exploring different ways to be connected in and out of school by partnering with businesses to build employment skills, and by volunteering with meals on wheels.
“This is a great way to promote public awareness of individuals with special needs and their capabilities to give back,” said Principal Robin Fields. “As well as working at these various sites helps them to develop their independence. It keeps them connected with people and themselves.”
