JSEA students explore health professions

December 17, 2015

Students from the Jay Science and Engineering Academy visited The University of Texas at San Antonio Medical and Allied Professions and explored the many careers available in health care.  Students participated in activities such as dissections, learning to make a cast, physical therapy exercises and intubation lessons.  Medical school students also taught the high school students how to perform a basic medical check-up and shared information about getting accepted to medical school.
