Energy-minded custodians awarded for diligence

June 2, 2015

Two savy and energy-conscience custodians were on the job to ensure that maintenance issues at their school were handled properly and quickly, thus saving the District both downtime of equipment and money.

Assistant Head Custodian Theresa Lopez and Nigh Custodian Henry Cortez at Ott Elementary School, received the Energy Conservation award from Tony Yoder for ensure that repairs to the irrigation system at their school were completed.

The work, completed by Maintenance, will not only save water for the District but prevent the possibility of a citation from SAWS for a water violation.
