Janiver Ntegereje, a student at Rudder MS, was riding his bike to school when he was struck by a car. Luckily, he was not seriously injured but the frame of his bike was cracked and the front tired completely destroyed. Edward Pedraza, head custodian at the school, heard about the incident and went into action. With the help of his family, he refurbished a bicycle that they had lying around their house and presented it to the young man. Pedraza has worked at NISD for almost 30 years and is certainly a shining example of what makes us #NorthsideProud!
