Lil’ Bits on Third Grade

What's happening at the Silver & Blue Diner? Everyone is singing, dancing and having a bopping time! 3rd graders took a blast to the past as they dressed in 50s styled garb as they played the roles of "Greasers and Surfers" during Hatchett's latest town meeting. Students and teachers practiced diligently for days to provide the community with a successful performance and informative anti-bullying message.

Schools across the nation are taking the battle against bullying to a new level due to several high-profile tragic cases. Hatchett Elementary is amongst these schools taking a proactive approach by hosting town meetings to better equip students with options to motivate and encourage them to choose character rather than bullying. Great job to our 3rd graders for bopping out bullying!
