Bike Rodeo

Dear Students and Parents,

It’s that time again! The Bicycle Rodeo has been re-scheduled for Thursday, April 4,
2019. All bikes must be at school no later than 7:45 a.m. The bicycles will be stored in
the gym in the appropriate grade level lane. We will not use the bike racks at the south
end of the building because of the distance from the rodeo area. Faculty, volunteers, and
student council members will provide security all day. See the back of this note for an
explanation of Bike Rodeo events.

Please place your child’s first and last name and grade level on their bike and
helmet using masking or duct tape. Please complete this at home to ensure a quick
bike drop-off. We have found in the past that many bicycles are the same brand and
color. Parents may take the bikes home after the rodeo or at the end of the school day. If
the bike is not picked up by 4:00 p.m. it will be moved to the stage.

Parents are more than welcome to cheer and support all Evers students.
The schedule is as follows:
2nd 8:30 – 9:15 5th 11:00 – 11:45
4th 9:20 – 10:05 K 12:20 – 1:05
3rd 10:10 – 10:55 1st 1:10-1:55

All participants will receive a ribbon. Bikes with training wheels are accepted, but can
not win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place due to SAPD rules. Trophies will be awarded to the three
highest scoring boys and girls in each grade level, at the end of their bike rodeo

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AND YOUR BIKE ON Thursday April 4, 2019!
