About me...

I've been a school counselor for 15 years at Northside ISD. Before I was employed as a school counselor, I taught 1st and 2nd grade bilingual at the elementary schools (2 years in 1st grade; 2 years in 2nd grade). Now, the only students I teach are at the University level. I teach at the University of Texas at San Antonio, UTSA, as an adjunct professor since 2006. I teach graduate courses to students that are interested in attaining their master's degree in school and/or community counseling. This, too, is fun and exciting for me!
