CCA Students Work with Two NISD Elementary Schools

McAndrew Elementary has a shed and greenhouse for their campus garden thanks to our CCA students.

On Saturday, September 16th Vice Principal, Mr. Stiteler and 4 students volunteered their time and talents to help out in the McAndrew Elementary campus garden.  The shed was purchased to safely and securely store garden supplies and tools. The greenhouse will be used by McAndrew students to regulate the climate for certain plants and flowers. Both structures required assembly and that’s where CCA came to the rescue!  Mr. Stiteler and his students worked tirelessly to professionally assemble both the shed and greenhouse to specifications.

Martin Elementary School is on the same page!  Last week our students began a project for them by building new garden boxes.  In the next two months the Construction Management strand will also build them a 4x8 wood shed to house their garden tools!
