A Message from your Briscoe Counselors: 

WILDCAT FAMILY STEM DAY on Saturday, Nov. 4th

Core4 STEM Program Family Day 


For the first time ever, Northwest Vista College, in collaboration with the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, is participating in the 8th annual CORE4 STEM Family Day! This event is for middle school students and their families to learn about STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers in San Antonio.


The event, which will run 9 am to 1 pm, will start with registration and light morning snacks in the foyer of Mountain Laurel Hall

Then at 9:30, there will be Welcome Remarks, which will lead to the first workshop activity which will last between 10:00 to 10:30

Students and their families can choose between different presenters and their STEM topic. Students and families will then have ten minutes to rotate to a different presenter which will start their workshop at 10:40

At 11:10, the process will repeat, and students and families will have ten minutes to go to their last chosen workshop which will start at 11:20 and last till 11:50

At 12:00, there will be Closing Remarks and lunch for all
