Details – As you consider the design of this icon, think about the details of the flower and how each part (flower petals, etc.) make up the whole flower. Details contain the information that enhance understanding. They act as supporting information to a big idea or concept (main idea). Details include: parts, factors, attributes, traits, and variables. If we go to a math example: 27 + (16 - 5) = the details are the numbers themselves (the parts that make up the equation).

Brauchle is a semifinalist in the 2015-2016 Silver & Black Give Back Team Up Challenge. We received $2,500 to begin a service-learning project. Eighteen semifinalists were selected in San Antonio based on proposals submitted for projects to improve their communities. The semifinalists were announced last Friday at the AT&T Center with help from Spurs player Boris Diaw, the Silver Dancers, Rampage Ice Girls, and the Coyote and T-Bone mascots. In April, five groups will be selected as Champions based on their work within the community and each group will be presented with a check for $20,000 to continue their service-learning projects. Wish us luck!
