The NISD Learning Tree is a free after school enrichment program for students in grades 6-8 that provides fun, hands-on classes and daily activities such as:
Reading, Math and Science Exploration,
Sports, Nutrition/Cooking, Teen Interest Clubs,
Arts/Crafts, Service-Learning, College & Job Prep,
Homework time, Snack,
Saturday Programming: Boys and Girls Club
Operating Hours:
3:45-6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday
Closed
on early release and district holidays.
Pick up:
Between 5:45-6:00
Bus transportation will be available beginning September
13th.
Learning Tree
is not a drop-in or day care program.
Consistent attendance
and good behavior is essential in maintaining enrollment.
Students
must be enrolled at H.B. Zachry M.S. to
participate and enrollment is limited!
