Red Ribbon Week

Monday Oct. 28th - Nov. 1st is Red Ribbon Week.  Red Ribbon Week  has been celebrated nationwide since 1998, following the murder of DEA Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena in 1985.   Today, the Red Ribbon Week is used to raise awareness about the need for alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention, early intervention, and treatment services.  Vale MS will celebrate Red Ribbon Week with special "attire" days during the week.   Monday Oct. 28th is "Waldo and Wanda Day" - dress like "Where's Waldo or Wanda" - no hats please.  Tuesday Oct. 29th is "Tie Day" - wear a Tie (regular or box tie).  Wednesday Oct. 30th is "Twins day" - find a friend and dress alike on Wednesday.  Thursday Oct. 31st is "Nerd day" - be proud that you enjoy learning and dress like a "nerd."   The week will end with "Super Hero" day on Friday Nov. 1st - dress in super hero shirts and attire - caps okay but no masks please.  We look forward to seeing our Stingrays Say No to Drugs and having fun with their attire this week.
