Areas of Service

Five integrated areas of service make up the core of the Technology Services Division organization (see Organization Chart) . Our service areas provide a variety of comprehensive leadership, service and support initiatives that advance the effective use of technology in Northside ISD. The core service components are:

• Technology Management Services Lori Jones, Assistant Superintendent; Joe McMonagle, Director)
  Develops, implements and oversees technology-related standards, policies, procedures, revenues, security, and Technology Acquisitions and Project Management (Organization Chart) throughout the District.

• Academic Technology, Library & Textbook Services (Doug Shudde, Director)
  Organization Chart - Academic Tech., and Library & Textbook
  Supports a campus collaboration model of CITs and Librarians working with classroom teachers to integrate Technology Applications TEKS and NISD Library Standards to maximize student achievement. Collaborates with District stakeholders in the adoption and delivery of teacher and student instructional materials and resources.

• Technology Training and Development Services (Elizabeth Langer, Director) Organization Chart
  Designs and delivers standards-based technology staff development for teachers, administrators, and support staff at the campus and district level. Learning opportunities include face-to-face classes, online training documents and videos, user-groups, and one-on-one instruction.

• Integrated Infrastructure Services (Ernest Vasquez, Director)

  Responsible for the design, management and operation of stable and robust instructional/administrative systems which provide fully integrated voice, video, and data to meet federal, state, and local legal requirements, and bring information to the user’s desktop. • Integrated Information Services (Gerri Collier, Director)

  Responsible for business and student data collection, analysis, usage and reporting required to meet federal, state, and local legal requirements as well as end user needs. See Also: Data Interfaces & Integrations
