Girls Athletics:

Volleyball tryouts will start Aug 26th. 8th grade athletes will tryout from 6:30-8am. 7th grade athletes will tryout from 3:45-6pm. Tryouts will last all week. Athletes MUST have a physical on file in order to try out for volleyball or any sport. Physical forms may be picked up in the front office or from any coach.

The first day of school 8-25 will be the first day of football practice for the 2008 season. Any 7th or 8th grade student who wishes to play must have all needed paperwork turned in before they will be allowed to practice. The last day to join is Wed. 8-27. Practice will start right after the conclusion of school and run until 5:45 pm. There will be practice 8-25 thru 8-29 ( Monday - Friday ). Those athletes who picked up their equipment the week before school started DO NOT need to bring it to school with them on Monday (8-25 ). Practice attire for Monday thru Thursday ( 8-25 thru 8-28 ) will be shorts, t-shirts/ practice jersey , socks and shoes. Friday (8-25) we will add Helmets to the practice attire. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY PRACTICE HELD OVER THE LABOR DAY HOLIDAY AS DIRECTED BY THE NISD ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
