Elementary Handbooks

Elementary handbooks are divided into four parts. All Northside elementary schools use the same handbook.

Secondary Handbooks

Secondary handbooks differ from elementary in that each high school or middle school in Northside publishes its own handbook, consisting of four sections.

Middle Schools and High Schools have a unique Section A. Sections B, C, and D are identical to the Elementary Handbooks.

Student-Parent Handbooks

Handbooks outline the policies and procedures pertaining to student activities and responsibilities as set forth by the Board of Trustees of the Northside Independent School District. Many of the policies covered in the handbooks can be found in the Board Policy Manual.

All students receive a Student-Parent Handbook at the beginning of each school year, along with an Acknowledgement Form which both student and parent are expected to sign and return to the school.

Report Cards

Schools use 6 or 9-week grading periods. Report Cards are generally distributed on the last day of the next week following the end of the period.

Report cards are usually sent home with the students, but in some cases they are handed out during parent-teacher conferences.

Distribution dates will be released at a later date.

Northside high schools mail the last report card of the school year. Distribution dates are approximate. For latest information please contact your child's school.
