Back To School

The first day of the 2011 school year is August 22, 2011. NISD is expecting a student enrollment of approximately 99,439 students for the 2012-2013 school year. More than 3,000 new students are expected to enroll this coming school year, so it is important that you register your child as soon as possible. It is possible that enrollment caps at some schools will prevent enrollment at your assigned neighborhood school and cause you to go to an alternate school that has room.
