There is lots going on at Scarborough....Check it out....
-Kindergarten has started learning about Place Value! They are doing FABULOUS! We are putting manipulatives in groups of tens and seeing how many ones we have left over! Our kindergarteners are also writing the numbers in the right "place"! YAY!
-First Grade went to the Magik Theatre to see Skippyjon Jones. We had a fabulous time learning and writing about performances.
-Second Grade is working super hard on Woodland Forest Unit and Animal Projects. Make sure to come look in our hallway next week!
-Third Grade is excited to "spring" into action by continuing to learn about time and measurement, two by one multiplication, and fractions in math! In reading, they are "busy as bees" getting ready for our STAAR test! They know our strategies and are working on using them to help us as we read. They can hardly contain our "energy" in science as we learn about our local cultures and celebrations, as well as various types of energy. They are also looking forward to their field trip to the Institute of Texan Cultures later this month!
-Fouth and Fifth Grade attended the San Antonio Symphony. Student artwork was displayed during The Water Cycle & Paint to Music concert.
