Kinder is starting up a beautiful garden! This year in our courtyard area, we will be planting our very own school garden! To get things up and running we have had some wonderful helpers from teachers, students, families, and community helpers. Our garden is slowing, but surely coming along and we will hopefully start planting with our students this week. The Kindergarten teachers want to give a big shout out to Girl Scout Troup #2587 and George Shepherd. The girls were able to help us dig up and weed out our old garden as well as help us plant new orange trees. Mr. Shepherd was a huge help with cleaning out our garden and building additional garden beds. He even went above and beyond by tagging along on a Lowe's run to get last minute things. Wow! We couldn't have done it without all those extra working hands. Still interested in gardening?? Please let any Kinder teacher know. Thanks for your caring and helping hands!!
