Our school's namesake, Mrs. Fran Rhodes read Pigs to the Rescue. Thank you Mrs. Rhodes for making our Rhodes celebration of World Read Aloud Day extra special!

Each year the students at Rhodes bring donations for our Giving Tree to support community projects. This year the older students brought needed school supplies, and our younger students brought in stuffed animals to support our local police sub-station's Blue Santa project. We also helped support the San Antonio Fire Department's SANTA Drive. We are very proud of our students and parents who overwhelmed us with their generosity in order to reach out to those less fortunate in our community.
