Principal

David Lamoureux is the Principal for the Nellie Reddix Center. He is a proud product of Northside ISD schools, attending Sul Ross Middle School and graduating from Jay High School in 1973. He received his B.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A & M University, Masters In Special Education from the University of the Incarnate Word and his Administrative Certification from Our Lady of the Lake University. Mr. Lamoureux has been with Northside for 27 years serving as a teacher, Special Education Coordinator, and administrator.

Vice-Principal

Susan Kent is the Vice-Principal for the Nellie Reddix Center. Susan shared, "I grew up in a military family. My father was a “lifer” Marine and I went to seven different schools before I graduated from high school. My first teaching job was in Brussels , Belguim working with elementary students in a resource room setting. From Brussels I came to San Antonio and began working for Edgewood school district as a resource teacher and then a pre-vocational skills teacher. I came to Northside in 1986 (23 years ago) and have been here ever since. I have taught regular education, special education, and have been an elementary school administrator, as well as a Director in the Human Resources Department before coming to Reddix to assist the students, parents, and special programs that are housed at the school.

"Susan continued, "I am married to a native San Antonian and we are the proud pet owners of four very cute dogs and a cockatiel named, Pretty Rikki. In our spare time we travel. Several places we enjoy are Lake Tahoe, Maui, the Florida Keys, Alaska , and one of my favorite places, Disneyworld!"
