The Nellie Reddix Center, Northside Adapted Physical Education Program and Northside ALE (Applied Learning Environment) classes are fortunate to have a small fleet of special needs lift buses stationed at the Reddix Center. These buses are used for a variety of purposes. There is a bus dedicated to Adapted Aquatics that shuttles students from all over the district from their home campus to the Adapted Aquatics Pool at the Reddix Center. The rest of the fleet transports students from the Reddix Center as well as from districtwide ALE units to CBI (community based instruction) sites. These drivers, assistants, and dispatcher are vital part of all of these programs. |
