After teaching school for 10 years, Meadows was ordained a minister in the Presbyterian Church in 1984. She is now the Executive of The Presbytery of Mid-Kentucky, a regional office of the United Presbyterian Church (USA).  She has become a conference speaker for church growth, even traveling to Taiwan to deliver keynote events.
