On Tuesday, October 29th, in celebration of respecting self and others and saying No to Drugs and Bullying, Passmore Students in grades PreK-5th particiaped in "Giving Back with Ronald McDonald". They learned how to share their time, their talents and gifts with each other and their community. They all also learned how to say "YES" to healthy living.

Next week is Red Ribbon Week and we will be recognizing it daily. Red Ribbon Week was inspired by the life and Work of Drug Enforcement Agency special agent Enrique ”Kiki” Camarena. His mother tried to talk him out of joining the DEA. ”I can’t do this,” he told her. ”I’m only one person, but I want to make a difference”. (read more)

Fifth graders at Passmore ES received a real-world lesson on “being a scientist” recently. The students were reading and learning about what different kinds of scientists do in their occupations (read more)
