O'Connor High School will host several informational meetings for incoming 8th Graders and their parents after Spring Break. The meetings will feature information about House Bill 5 and the new graduation requirements for the Class of 2018, information about graduation endorsements and electives that will be available for OHS students, and tips for helping 8th graders select courses and make a smooth transition to high school. READ MORE HERE.
Evening meetings will be held in the school's auditorium on Tuesday, Mar. 18 and Thursday, Mar. 20 at 6:30 p.m. each night. Following the formal meeting, eighth graders and their parents will be able to attend an elective fair and speak with teachers about their courses. Two meetings will also be held during the day for parents. One will be at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 18 in the Library and on Thursday, Mar. 20 at 12:30 p.m. in the Career Center located in the Administration Building. Please note that the daytime meetings will not include elective fairs, but elective information will be available. We encourage parents of 8th graders to attend one of the meetings to hear this important graduation plan information. Click Here to view the event flyer. Click Here to view the event Powerpoint.
