Each year, the NISD Board of Trustees sign the Code of Ethics, reaffirming their commitment to adhere to educational and ethical standards.
According to Superintendent John Folks, NISD is probably one of a very few Districts where the Board and Superintendent (on behalf of the staff) sign a code of ethics.
"We feel that it is important to have a code of ethics to follow, and that we be an example to our students and staff about the importance of ethics," Folks said.
The Code of Ethics is available online on
the Board of Trustees web site.
