Pease community fair centers on back to school info

Pease Middle School will host its Bulldog Family Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from noon to 6 p.m. for community members to get ready for school, learn about volunteer opportunities and free classes, and connect with beneficial family service organizations in the area.

The Children’s Mobile Clinic will also provide immunizations from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. by appointment. Parents should call 954-3764 to schedule appointments and bring immunization records with them to the clinic. Immunizations are free for Medicaid/Chip patients as well as the underinsured.

Several Pease departments and organizations will also be on hand at the Fair- PTA, Watch D.O.G.S, Library, and National Junior Honor Society. Families can also purchase PE uniforms and yearbooks.

Participants in the Fair include CCA of SA- VITA Tax Preparation, Easter Seals- Early Childhood Intervention, SA Food Bank, Girl Scouts, Greentree Tennis Club, The Karate Academy, Haven for Hope, Heritage Neighborhood Association, Icing Smiles- Cakes for Charity, Jimmy Johns, Ragan’s Hope, Methodist Healthcare, NISD Transportation, NISD Family Involvement, Realtor- Adolfo Trevino, Peter Piper Pizza, and Westlakes Family Dental.
