Parents of special needs students in PPCD through 12th grade are invited to attend a meeting to discuss transitional planning for their child while in elementary, middle, and high school. The meeting will be held at Driggers Elementary School on Monday, Jan. 13 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The program is sponsored by the NISD Special Education Program Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) and the NISD Special Education Program. No reservation is required.
“We want to give parents the tools to begin to formulate a long term plan for their child,” said Marcy Warren, Director of Special Education for NISD. “We hope that this meeting is a first step toward achieving their long term goals.”
