Reddix students are more alike than different

December 16, 2013

Current and former students of the Reddix Center have formed a presentation group to educate students and staff about disability awareness.

“The students share their struggles, hopes and dreams for the future,” says Principal Robin Fields. “They share with students and staff across the District about living with a disability, in hopes that their message will foster a community through NISD that sees individuals with disabilities just as they see themselves or their friends.”

The “More Alike Than Different” presentation group are the voice for other individual who may not have a voice.

“Their message is clear,” Fields says. “They are more alike than different.”
