Explore, escape and expand your horizons with Community Education courses

August 13, 2013

It’s not just back to school time for students. There are hundreds of learning opportunities available for all ages in the latest course catalog for Adult and Community Education.

More than 20,000 people enroll each year in the hundreds of Community Education classes offered during the day, at night and on weekends.

Community Education wants to help you explore your world, escape the everyday, and expand your horizons this fall. The digital catalog is available now and the print catalog will be mailed to homes at the end of August.

In addition to popular courses in areas like the arts, foreign languages, and computer applications, there are many new offerings including job-readiness and professional development courses.

Thanks to grants from the Northside Education Foundation, Community Education has updated the campus kitchen at the Northside Learning Center and is offering many healthy cooking classes for children and adults.

To register for courses, go online, visit the Northside Learning Center at 6632 Bandera Road, or call ACE at 397-8100. More information about registering for classes is available here.
