Just like their motto stated, The Taft Boys Basketball team were truly Austin Ready, by having one of the best seasons in school history. They finished with an overall record of 34-6, 29-1 vs All Region 4 opponents and were District Champions, Area Champions, Regional Champions, and State Semifinalist.  They finished ranked 4th in the state and were ranked number 1 in the final city rankings.  During the season, they also won the San Antonio ISD Tournament and set a school record by winning 22 games in a row. We are extremely proud of the young men and women who helped make this a dream season.

In addition, Head Coach Joey Tate was selected as the 2010-11 San Antonio Boys Basketball Coach of the Year.
