Two NISD students have been named National Achievement Scholar semifinalists. They are among 1,500 high school seniors named semifinalists in the 46th annual National Achievement Scholarship Program, a privately financed academic competition for African American high school students. Semifinalists were designated on a regional representation basis and are the highest-scoring entrants in the states that make up their geographic region. The semifinalists are:
