The inspiration of former Leon Valley Mayor Marcy Meffert, the focus of the event is to encourage student artists and help them to learn "the business of art," while establishing an active arts community in the city of Leon Valley. The event is in partnership with the city of Leon Valley, Northside ISD, and the Northside Education Foundation. The event showcases the artwork of numerous Northside students, teachers and visiting artists-in-residents.
